Hot off the heels of their five Golden Globe nominations, Glee has done it again by receiving three nominations for the 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Glee was nominated for “Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series” alongside 30 Rock, Hot in Cleveland, Modern Family, and The Office.
Chris Colfer (Kurt) is up against some serious acting vets in the category of “Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series.” His competition includes Alec Baldwin, 30 Rock; Ty Burrell, Modern Family; Steve Carell, The Office; and Ed O’Neill, Modern Family.
Finally, Jane Lynch received a nomination for her role as Sue in the category of “Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series.” She’s up against four other serious leading ladies: Edie Falco, Nurse Jackie; Tina Fey, 30 Rock; Sofia Vergara, Modern Family; and Betty White, Hot in Cleveland.
Congrats to Glee!
